Rooting For Ray

My fiancé and I were dealing with the grief of an unexpected miscarriage when her friend came home one day with a little Labrador puppy for us, first time in those few months I saw my fiancé’s eyes sparkle, this puppy was like a ray of hope in our lives and our relationship, so naturally, we named him RAY. He became the centre of our world and to many it may sound naive but he truly became the child we had lost. Ray’s eyes are so full of joy and his tricks are to die for, this little fella knows we can’t say no to his cute little puppy face and hence HE ALWAYS HAS A PUPPY FACE now for some reason. Just looking at Ray being himself, running wild in the garden with his hair always falling on his eyes, tripping on things that are not even there, and getting all crazy excited for his little treats has made us happier in ways we couldn't even imagine. Ray is now 3 and oh how much love he has brought into our lives is peerless. All was well and then very recently my fiancé noticed that Ray was losing a lot of hair and she got worried so I told her any dog’s locks lose their grip when spring or early autumn rolls around and dogs shed their seasonal coats. When even after the season changing it didn’t stop and kept increasing we assumed it was environmental factors like temperature or nutrition. A month later we took him to his vet for checkup and he was diagnosed with Alopecia, otherwise known as abnormal hair loss or baldness, is the inability to regrow hair regularly or when hair falls out partially or entirely over the dog’s body. It occurs when the body attacks its own hair follicles, resulting in hair falling out. We were suggested treatment that included injections and we felt sad for our little Ray but we made it a point to make everything around should be as normal as possible. Looking at his fallen hair everywhere be it the sofa, carpet or the floor was absolutely tormenting for us, it felt as if our little boy was struggling in silence, not only did we need to start his treatment as soon as possible, we also needed a full overhauling of the house. We searched on the web for days found a perfect match for home cleaning, our Hubertt PWR 35, with it’s three stage filtration it traps all the dust and dirt. Our home was completely fur free and Four days later the vet started Ray’s treatment and we were hoping for it to be a temporary flare up and not a permanent one. As the treatment is ongoing Ray definitely looks and feels better, his hair has started to regrow and the ones that fall are being taken care of by our Hubertt PWR 35.
